Due to the long ageing of this wine, the Viña Tondonia Reserva is a vibrant ruby red colour leading slightly towards amber at the rim.
The nose is fresh and light, with dried red berry and red currant aromas, together with notes of vanilla. It is rich, very dry, smooth and developed with firm tannins that give the wine good balance. The complex mouth has flavours of cherry, vanilla and spice which all lead to a long finish.
Pairs well with all meat dishers, but particularly leg of lamb stuffed with garlic, rosemary and anchovies.
